The question
A 16-year-old fast bowler at a cricket academy has had low back pain for 3 months, worse on bending backwards. Neurological examination is normal. An oblique X-ray of the lumbar spine shows a lucent band across the neck of the Scottie dog at L5, and the lateral view shows no forward slip. What is the diagnosis?
