The question
A 6-year-old has fever and a swollen knee. A latex slide CRP kit with a sensitivity of 6 mg/L is used (reference below 6 mg/L). Serum diluted in glycine saline gives agglutination at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8, and none at 1:16. What is the approximate CRP?
