The question
An 18-month-old boy weighing 10 kg has had watery diarrhoea for 2 days. At the PHC he is restless and irritable, his eyes are sunken, he drinks eagerly and a skin pinch goes back slowly. There is no blood in the stool. Besides zinc, what should the medical officer give?
